Our program continues to grow. In the past year we served 34,405 meals and had 34,539 drop-in visits and provided 10,026 Community Outreach services.

We also appreciate the continued financial support of Abbott Laboratories to the Positive Outlook Program. Abbott supplies Ensure for “Club Med”: an adult nutrition shake is taken with the client’s medications to facilitate compliance as part of the VNHS Maximally Assisted Therapy program. Additionally, Abbott funds our ‘Sweet Information Sessions’ (treatment information sessions combined with desserts) for clients to learn about HIV/AIDS.

Our annual “Papalooza” - funded by Abbott Virology – is a women’s health fair where they learn about women’s health issues and receive breast exams and pap screening. Thank you to Blanche Macdonald Centre, Womyns'Ware Inc. Outreach Programs, Army and Navy, and Nesam Sales Ltd. (NYX Cosmetics) for their generous contributions, which made our event a success.
